& I hear a symphony, whenever you are near Luko nodded slightly, blinking and glancing at the other side of the room, sighing and giving a slight shrug. "Unfortunately, my heart is already taken. Also unfortunately, I don't think the girl returns my feelings. So, sorry to Ms. Nicklson."
His eyes darted downward in a quick motion, before back up to Maiho's face, making sure not to stare too long at her phone. The only people Maiho would text: his brothers or her cousin. Meaning, she was up to something, one of his siblings would tell the truth, and he was about to get caught. He raised an eyebrow. "Harsh. Can't a girl give me some credit for trying?" He wondered before nodding slightly. "Yes, a genius, put simply."
~Meanwhile~
Aizel blinked, stopping short of heading to his Mustang, parked neatly in the driveway of his new house, when his pocket vibrated. Okay, so there was no...absolutely no sign of Prince's car, in the garage, down the street, anywhere. He didn't really know what he was doing. Hearing Prince just say he was...home...well, that had come as a shocker.
He figured he was going to go bug Riley and Matt out of whatever the hell they were doing, since Matt was probably attempting to skip work since Riley was probably complaining, only for both of them to maybe get in trouble from Aizel's father later. He sighed. It seemed like a good idea, confronting Matt. He only knew Luko was at school, and in town. Nothing else. He needed answers, and who better to turn to than the oldest brother who knew every secret, without even trying. Blackmail had always come easy for Matt.
Aizel reached into his pocket with a sigh and continued down the drive to his car, flipping his phone open and stopping. Again. This time almost having a heart attack. Maiho? Texting him? Was the little notice on the screen of his phone fooling him? Aizel shook his head, opening the text and reading.
Damn.
He sighed, "Can't be helped," Aizel decided, shrugging, hitting 'Reply'. Yes, he's back. He just called me about 25 minutes or so ago to tell me. Going to Matt for more info.
[/b] It was the truth. All he could do was hope to hell the brat didn't beat him up.[/blockquote][/blockquote] a whispered tune, right in my ear

She bit her lower lip, something twisting in her guy slightly though she hid it carefully. "What a shame, they're both missing out. What's she like then, if you don't mind me asking." she murmured, tucking her hair behind her ear. Maiho shrugged. "Geniuses come and geniuses go. Try and make a lasting impression will ya."
She blinked glancing down at her phone flipping it open again scanning the message quickly. The color drained out of her face slowly, a slight flash of anger in her downcast eyes. Sighing slowly, she hit reply. Great, he's sitting right in front of me too. she typed hitting send and sliding her phone into her sleeve.
"So, how long have you hung around here?" Maiho asked slowly, keeping dark blue orbs trained on her desk. Someone had writted Jane hearts Erik then hastily scribbled it out. Obviously not for long. she mused silently. In all honesty, she wasn't exactly sure what to think, or feel really. She could remember spending hours lying awake and going over multiple senarios in her head but that was when she had been convinced that he was coming back. Eventually, she had to grow up. After all it had been years.

& I hear a symphony, whenever you are near Luko smiled, nodding. "My lasting impression won't be one you forget," he said, adding earnestly, "Hopefully." Luko glanced down at Maiho's hand, where she was hiding her phone. If he wanted to, he could get away with texting...but he didn't want to. So he just pretty much lied to Aizel. "She's..." he sighed, smiling. "Well I haven't seen her in a while, but she sure was a determined girl when she wanted to be."
He cleared his throat slightly, leaning away from Maiho and glancing around the room. "Tell my brother not to go to Matt, Maiho," he murmured, so quietly only she could hear, not looking at her, before answering clearly. "I've been here about 3 months, now."
He didn't need Charm going to Matt, only to find out how long Prince had really been here and when he had decided to come out. Aizel loved Matt....but that didn't mean there wasn't bound to be trouble, knowing that Matt knew first.
~Meanwhile~
Aizel flinched again when his phone went off in his pocket, slowing down his Mustang. The city limits in Salem were a bit different, not Forks or Seattle, or even Port Angeles. It was a bit hard to speed and get away with it, though he could always work his vampiric charm.
Ha. Charm. Aizel rolled his eyes. "I'm an idiot, as I've so been told," he muttered, grabbing his phone and blinking; not believing it. "LUKO IS WITH MAIHO!?" He shouted, out of surprise. Knee-jerk reaction of his. Shout when totally, utterly, completely confused and a tad bit annoyed. He knew he'd be at the school but....wow. He hit reply. PRINCE IS WITH YOU!? Was all he could think to write, before pressing down on the gas, hard.

She glanced down at her phone when it vibrated deciding to ignore it before looking back up at Luko. "And you think she doesn't like you, why?" she wondered raising an eyebrow. She sighed opening her phone and reading the text and texting back a simple Yes.
[/i] "I have no idea who you're talking about Mr. Danvers. Besides, provided we're talking about the same Matthew, he's currently in London." Her dark blue eyes flashed back up to his face, She growled, pure fury in her eyes though her voice was cool bording on icy. "3 months huh. So, tell me Prince when were you planning on telling me you were coming back around?" she muttered twirling a strand of pale blonde hair around her finger, chipped black fingernail polish still sparkling. "Do you realize how many years its been?" If someone asked her what she was most mad about she would have to have said the fact that he walked away without even saying goodbye. She made a face as the breeze filtering through the open window caused her hair to slip through the clip, she could feel the slight sting as the strands slapped her cheeks. "So what you think you can walk away without saying good bye and then waltz back in with no explanation??" & I hear a symphony, whenever you are near Luko let out a sigh, not even holding how aggravated, tired, and a bit ancient it sounded. This day, he could feel it already, was going to get worse. "Oh, I know he's in London. He's my brother. Charm, of course, doesn't know he's in London."
He glanced at Maiho, studying her eyes - the one part that was easiest to read, no matter how well she hid her emotions or thoughts. Luko shook his head a little. "She doesn't like me because I left. I didn't say goodbye for my reasons. I told you, personal demons I'm fighting. I've been back for 3 months, and hadn't decided to tell anyone but Matt because I wasn't sure how I wanted to handle the situation," he exhaled, pausing.
"I knew my brothers would be happy. Aislinn happy, a bit worried, maybe confused and a bit angry. Riley I've visited, since she's with Matt, so she knew as well, unfortunately. And you. Well I knew you'd probably want to go find a wooden stake and attempt to kill me, but..." he trailed off, shrugging. "As for explanations; go with your cousin to dinner tonight, I mean, there isn't a legitamet one...but I can try." Luko's eyes followed Maiho's strands of hair that fell from the clip, finger twitching to reach forward and brush it away like he used to, but keeping his hand on his desk.

She growled, if she had been a cat her fur would've been bristling by this point. "Don't make fun of the fact that I used to love you Danvers, as far as Im concerned I never had your heart no matter what you say now." The classmates closest to them started to look at them but decided better of it and went back into their own conversations.
Maiho's dark blue eyes flashed dangerously, a slight smirk on her face. "Don't tempt me Danvers, there's plenty of wood to break and make one." she murmured, her voice too sweet for the anger..no..pure rage she was feeling now. Pushing her hair out of her face, she rolled her eyes. "Charm's been freaking out, Matt's matt but he's worried. Aislinn..she's too wrapped up in Charm to notice much lately." she answered with a shrug.
She glanced down at his hand, watching the long fingers twitch with an inward sigh, rememmbering when he would always scold or push her hair out of her face when it fell into her eyes. Maiho scowled at him. "What makes you think I even eat dinner anymore? Besides the last thing I need is to watch Aizel and Aislinn make goo goo eyes at each other over the dinner table while you make a half-assed attempt at an excuse for leaving for so long."

& I hear a symphony, whenever you are near Luko spared a glance at their classmates, giving a simple shrug. He glanced at her, narrowing his eyes in concentration, mentally pushing himself into her mind, not caring if it hurt either of them. He tore down a part of her block. Think what you want, but you know you can't lie to your heart.
"Aislinn and Aizel make goo goo eyes because they're in love. Something you seem not to understand," he said, copying her all-too-sweet tone. "You can't hate them because of it. And I'm guessing you eat since you're still alive and in front of me."
He leaned toward her, eyes darkening and flashing, narrowing them on her. "As for the stakes. Go ahead and try, you wouldn't get away with it," he snarled under his breath. Her short temper was clashing with his extremely patient personality, and he was losing his patience, quick. He didn't want to eat her alive, but it wasn't a choice if he happened to get mad. Being away, he hadn't had the control he used to. He glared at her mutely. I know Charm is freaking, he's the only brother I haven't visited much. Matt is worried, but lucky for Matt I make contact with him more than any of you.

Maiho squeezed her eyes shut at the searing pain tearing through her mind as he overcame he tore at her mental blocks, whimpering softly, before mentally glaring at him. What the fuck do you think you're doing, get out of my head! Besides, why should I believe you when you've been lying for years now. Even stooping so far as to get your brothers to lie as well.
Her lips curved into a scowl before glancing at her watch. The bell would ring soon and she could escape this madness. She sighed. "You're wrong. I do understand because unrequited love sucks and I never said that I hated em for it..just that I'd rather not deal with it when I'm eating." Maiho rolled her eyes. "So? I could be skipping meals." she pointed out, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
The blonde fifteen year old smirked. "You'd be surprised what I've gotten away with." she murmured, referring to the fact that she had tagged along with her neighbor on a couple of hunting missions, even managing to dispatch one rather sloppy vampire on her own...more or less. She flinched, blue eyes paining slightly at the intrusion on her thoughts again. Gee thanks for the reminder. That you disappeared without a word to the person you knew would miss you the most and simply came around to see your brothers and had them lie to everyone else.
